Chris White Ceramics

Chris White is a ceramist and a potter,who trained at the world famous Poole Pottery in Dorset England,he was attracted to Finland for its respect for quality design and pure northern nature. In his work you can see and feel a deep connection between the nature and his ceramic forms.

Chris works mostly with porcelain which is hand-thrown on the potters wheel and turned on a lathe to give a super fine surface, after firing the porcelain at high temperature it is translucent and the light shines through the clay body with gives soft shades.
